Be sad today, or be happy.
Allow yourself to feel what you feel.
Then, take a deep breath and
tap into the feelings you had yesterday;
the hope, and fear, and anxious energy. Harness that energy, and breathe it in.
It’s not over. It is only beginning.
Now the New Work begins.
The work of yesterday is done.
Pour your energy into the Work of Now.
Go out and continue to affect the world.
Spread gratitude, spread kindness,
spread justice, spread hope for the future.
With every breath you take,
every smile you share,
every interaction you have with friends or strangers.
Make plans, make changes, make yourself heard.
Stand up for others whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Be strong. Be compassionate. Be just. Be kind.
Keep moving forward.
Keep making things better.
This is the work of Now.
