Grab your phone.
Sit down comfortably wherever you are, in a chair, on the floor, it doesn’t matter.
Set your phone timer for 1 minute.
Close your eyes.
Inhale and exhale as slowly as you can.
Long slow breaths.
As you inhale, think to yourself- I am grateful for.
As you exhale, list something.
Make it simple.
I am grateful for… my breath
I am grateful for… my nose
I am grateful for… coffee
I am grateful for… the sky
I am grateful for… this chair
Keep inhaling and exhaling.
Keep listing things.
When the timer goes off, take 1 more breath in and out while thinking,
I am grateful for… this day.
Take a moment to simply notice how you feel after 1 minute of gratitude, and then get back to whatever it is you have to do.
